Just wanted to let everyone know that Cujy is cured of her prolapsed rectum!!!!! My best friend (who is a vet tech) gave me the advice to put her on cage rest for a week to see if that would give her the "quiet" time she needed to let the prolapse fix itself, as in essence the suture does the same thing it buys you time, for everything to go back to the way it should be! So maybe just maybe, this can help others in the future. Or I was just lucky with her and didn't have to put her through a surgery, just an awful week of boredom!!! What a great Xmas gift!!! Just what I wanted, a happy healthy pipe cleaner! |
