November 4th, Oxford Ferret Rescue will be having its 4th annual fundraiser. It is held in Fair Hill, Maryland.

raffles are at 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00
live auction begins at 5
food will be served from 12-5
games will be going on from 12-5
cake walks will happen many times during the day
Location: Ed Walls Building on the Cecil County Fairgrounds in Cecil County, Elkton, Md.

You will see signs "Hoe-down in the hills" as you get close.
It's a great family day with all kinds of good music from everyone's fav DJ, BOB ADAMS himself! There will be a cake walk and other events.
If you are unable to attend, but want to participate and help support OXFORD you can!!! Just follow this link and start making a list of what you want to win! The raffle tickets are $1 each, and the winners are responsible for S&H. Dee Bickling has been in charge of the this effort, and she's written in her FML post that a "little extra" be added to the PayPal to cover expenses. I'm sure a little extra would be more than covered by 15 cents on the dollar.

You can purchase raffle tickets at $1.00 each.
Send me an email at dbickling@verizon.net with what number you would like and how many tickets for that number. Let me know if you will be
paying thru paypal or snail mail. I will email you my address if you
need it. Paypal money to dbickling@verizon.net and add extra to cover
paypal fees. I will send you an email confirming that I received your
request and I will write your name on the back of your tickets.
Live Auction
You can place online bids for items in our auction.
I will be handling the bidding for our online bidders.
Send me an email letting me know which item you would like to bid on,
and the max amount you want to bid for that item.
I will place bids for you during the auction and notify you soon after
if you won the item.
Anyone who wins a raffle or live auction item is responsible for the
shipping amounts to mail that item to you. Please look carefully and
consider this when bidding. Some items are very heavy.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions about any item on our
listings.

OK folks, if ya can't be there in person, then by golly let's support our good friend Claudia and her shelter!!! You DO NOT have all day tomorrow to play. I just spoke with Claudia and she believes the online bidding will close by 8am tomorrow. So, best to get your raffles and live auction bids in RIGHT NOW!!!
I hope to have an outting tomorrow and go and see all my friends at Oxford's and support the event. I hope everyone makes the effort to go and have a great time too!
