I came home today from camping and found my koda bear thowing up. I took him out and he was skinny. I dont know what happen. My daughter is a really good care giver and she is the only one I would trust to take care of them besides me. Well I called my vet and he met me at the office and he looked him over and koda had stop throwing up buy then. he was just alittle dehydrated so he gave him some IV fluids and told me to put him by himself so I can keep track of everything going in and everything coming out. He took his temp it was 102. Did not say if that was high or not so I am guessing his temp was fine. He is sleeping right now right here infront of me. He did eat alittle bit when we got home and drank some more water. I gave him two viles of pedialite. I will offer more later when he wakes.. We are going to give him until tomorrow to see what he does.. then it will be xrays looking for a blockage. So I need prayers ONCE again.. I cant loose my koda bear.. him and java have been here the longest... I'll keep you posted...

Well Koda has not thrown up since yesterday and his poo is almost back to normal. But he is still sleeping and not wanting to wake up for any amount of time.. I hope that is still ok.. the food looks like it has been messed with but i have not seen him eat anything since i got up.

I just went through a flu with my ferrets and then they gave it to me. Zoey vomitted and had diarhea, and the others had diarhea. All Zoey wanted to do was sleep. It took over a week before she started acting like herself again. Maybe he has the flu too. We think she got it from being to close to the a/c.

Oh Thank goodness. I am glad Koda Bear is feeling a bit better. I would not let my guard down just yet thou. I am a bit paranoid when they get sick.

Ok got the dook soup done. Koda loved it. I would not let him have anymore than a tsp of it.. did not want to through his system to far off. None of my fuzzies have ever had it. So a little at a time. Gave a tsp to everyone else.. sassy is not into that much but that might change with time. remee was like koda and wanted more.. lol but alittle at a time.. Soooo,, everyone here likes the dook soup... yaaaay. And Chris, You bet.. will not let it down.. still watching him like a hawk..

That's great news! What dook soup recipe are you using?
It could've just been he played too hard after eating... That's happened to Skipper several times. I started giving them their soup AFTER they'd been up and playing hard... more towards just before they went to bed again, and that's pretty much stopped the "play til I barf" episodes. 
Or maybe he just got choked on a piece of kibble... I sure hope it was just something like that, and there's nothing more wrong with him.

Well today he still wants to sleep but the is doing better. Still eating and still normal poos. Had to put toby in a cage by himself. I think he has a cold. He has been sneezing and watery eyes we still have to pick his nose due to the boogies stopping him up. but he is good.. he is eating and drinking. giving him the dook soup. the chicken in it will help with the cold part. WOW it just seems I am getting alittle bit of everything now. Wont be on today until sometime to night. today is cage cleaning day so now i have two to clean out so it will take alittle longer today.
